Q: What is the top speed of a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
I need to do a science assignment on road science basically, and I found the safety features but I can’t find the top speed! Please help!
the 1ss model.
A: The top speed can vary depending whether you have a governing switch on the motor or not. I do know the Camaro goes 0-60 in about 4.8 seconds. I hope this information helps a little. Good luck on your assignment.

Q: On a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro with the small v6 3.4 does this car uses a PCV valve or just a elbow?
I have this question because I have been running the car with no pcv valve or nothing to redirect the blow by gasses, and some people had told me that if you run your car with no PCV valve you may not get the best fuel economy that the car is able to get. But the main question is if I should put a PCV valve or just a elbow on the valve cover.
A: the car came from the factory with a PCV valve, go get one and install it.
Q: What can I do if the right side of the unibody on my 1974 Chevrolet Camaro is rusted out ?
Replace? Repair? Where can I get the parts?
A: The best thing to do would be to replace any rusted structural parts. It can be done, but it will be very expensive. Since the unibody provides the structural integrity for your car, you need someone trained in body repair and welding to to this repair. This is NOT a DIY job.
The best place to get parts will be at http://www.classicindustries.com/ but a google search should bring up many other places.
Q: How much would car insurance cost for a 16 year old driving a new Chevrolet Camaro?
A: probably as much as your car loan: no trust whatsoever.
Q: Are the parts of a 1974 and a 1981 Chevrolet Camaro interchangeable?
If so which parts are, which parts are not and which years are also interchangeable
What about the unibody and the roof
A: oh sure.
Q: How much will a 94 Chevrolet Camaro’s value increase over the years?
A: Zero.
Not until the car is at least 20 years old can you even begin to consider it a classic or a vintage collectible car. And even at that the car needs to be something special to be collectible. It needs to be factory stock, it needs to be in showroom condition and it needs to be a special edition or have some rarity to it to be considered collectible. They built way to many of them for just another high production numbers off the assembly line car to be valuable.
Q: In my local area there is a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 selling for $9,900. What do I need to look for on it?
I have already looked at and it appears to be very good condition. I even test drived and it handle pretty well. I am new to buying classics, so what do I need to look for specificly? Later I will be taking pictures if that would help. I just want to make sure this car doesnt sound to good to be true for such a price. Any advice would help.
A: Mate if you’re going to be buying a 35 year old car have a mechanic check over it….
Rust is an obvious one, check EVERYWHERE. Personally I’d rather an old car with a great body, than great mechanics. The mechanical side of things can be fixed easier lol.
Q: I have a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro RS i want to upgrade it to a Z28. Can I put a LT1 engine in it?
And if I can… Do i go to get any other components like a drive-shaft or anything of that sort.
A: It does all depend on how much money you have. If you don’t have that much cash, by all means, do the LT1 swap out of a wrecked Z28. You’ll need to stay with 96 and up for OBDII compliance. You’ll need the engine, harness and PCM. Best to swap over the engine/trans combination. This is actually easy – if your wrecked donor car is good from the firewall on up, you can pull the entire k-member, engine, accessories and all, and bolt it up into your car – infinitely easier than trying to lift the engine out of the nose!
If you have more cash, then get the LS-engine/trans/PCM combination out of a later Camaro, and swap it in. The swap kits for the LS engines are freely available now – the expense here comes from the additional parts to integrate into your car.
Additional parts should include the trans – I don’t know if your existing trans has the rated parts for the extra torque.
Q: what is the type of engine in my ‘92 chevrolet camaro rs?
i have a 6 cylinder engine. is it fuel injected? or carburetor? im pretty sure its fuel injected throttle body.
how can i find out if it’s throttle body injection, or multi point injection?
A: Aaron there is only one 6cyl engine used in the 1992 camaro. The engine code for this engine is LHO. This 3.1 liter V-6 puts out 140 hp and 180 lbs of engine torque. The fuel system used on this 3.1 liter is the MFI fuel system. (Multi Port Fuel Injection) Please use the link posted for tons of specs and info on your 1992 camaro.Best of luck. http://www.camarosource.ca/main_new_site.php?url=open_new_layout.htm

Q: On a Third Generation Chevrolet Camaro, what is the part under the Front Bumper called?
http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/3448/frontbumper.jpg
On that picture, what is the name of the part that is outlined in red?
A: Air dam
Chin spoiler
Q: 1996 pontiac trans am tranny into a 1994 chevrolet camaro?
Would a 1996 pontiac trans am transmission fit into a 1994 chevrolet camaro z28?
A: In 1996, any vehicle sold in the US went to OBD 2 and the wiring doubled from 1995 to 1996. I do not think the tranny in a 1996 trans am will work properly even if it did fit. I would look for a 1994 to 1995 camaro transmission.
Q: is a 1969 chevrolet camaro a bad first car?
why and why not???
would it be a bad choice of a car for a teenage girl about 15 or 16 to drive when she first gets her lisence and has her permit??
would a 1980 ford F 350 truck be better as a first car?
A: NO ITS A CLASSIC CAR
Q: Chevrolet Camaro?
I live in Croatia (Europe) and i really really really want that car!!
can someone tell me were i can buy it because we don’t have it here?? are there any in Europe anyway?
how much does it cost and how much it would cost me if i buy it in america and then ship it over here??
tnx
A: Are you talking about the “concept Camaro” in the movie “Transformers”? If so, it’s not yet been released in the US either. The estimated costs here when it comes out are around $22-28k for the V6 coupe, $32-40k for the RS or Z-28 coupe (they haven’t decided which model to produce yet, but no SS for the first year) and up to $45k for a loaded convertible RS or Z.
I would estimate by the time you paid tariffs and customs fees in addition to the shipping costs, you’re looking at $15k or more just to get it over to you….that’s if it’s even legal transport based on trading laws to your country, emissions, fuel consumption, etc. IF any are to be shipped to Europe, I’d check locales such as London or Paris, and possibly around the Autobahn in Germany….vehicular cosmopolitan hubs which would be likely to import exotic novelties from the US such as this. However, be expecting to pay a premium. I’d say roughly 3-5x actual cost.
The Concept Camaro is due for release in the US in September of ‘08 for the ‘09 model year. However, if you can find means to ship it, with a substantial downpayment, I would think that people can start ordering a car made to their specifications by summer of ‘08 to be delivered in September. The Camaro is actually being made in Canada, by General Motors, by the way, so you may be able to do importation through Canadian officials instead of the US – it may be easier. Also, if you get a Canadian car, the various fluid units and also your gauges will be in metric measurements instead of English. Hope this helps….I’m dying waiting for them to be released, too!

Q: How much would insurance cost on a 96 Chevrolet camaro?
Monthly? I spotted a camaro for the first time and it was completely gorgeous, I almost cried. it also runs good. The cost is pretty crazy for a camaro only 2,000. My mom said that I could not get it because the insurance is high I asked her how high and she said about 3,000 a month also I’m 16. I get the feeling she is wrong how much would you say insurance on a 96 camaro would cost?
A: Impossible to answer on here… only way to find out is call around to the different insurance agencies and see what rates would be for your age group. Call GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, etc… all the major players. All are going to vary.
Many, many variables to consider:
1) Age of driver (which WILL go against you, no matter what you drive)
2) Repair cost of vehicle
3) Classification of vehicle (Camaros are sports cars, no matter the age)
4) Location of driver/vehicle
Nobody on here will be even able to quote you a ballpark figure.
