get comfortable in the truck. Selling a 3 yr old truck for as much as a new 08 is not going to happen. You gotta cinch up the belt, make the payments, and tough out the storm. Once the truck is paid off, you will be able to make better choices on the next car.

A: if you are talking about the top speed of 92 mph, pull the fuse for the anti-lock brake system. the abs module sends a signal to the pcm for the rear end speed. if the fuse is pulled, the pcm doesn’t know how fast the truck is going. then the top speed isn’t regulated.

I took the tire off and it looks like the rotar and the hub assembly are made from the same piece. To put into four wheel drive, you have to turn the hubs, so I took the hub switch off and the rotar still wont budge. Any help, please?
A: usually when you remove the hub switch there is a big nut which holds the hub bearings in place.
This will either have a locking plate with bent tabs to keep the nut from turning or it will have bolts holding the nut and bearings in place.
The whole hub assembly needs to be removed, in order to get to the bolts at the back which hold the brake rotor together

So get a new car. Sell the ford, after you figure out how to fix it so it doesn’t cause you trouble, and I think you can just remove the pump. I think I had that experience one day.

A: If this is daily or often the F-250 would be better… it can handle more weight. If it is just sometimes and not together, the F150 with the towing package (usually stock on newer ones) will work.

The horn on this truck is too high pitched, is there any way to adjust it to make it lower pitched, or to replace it? Where is the horn located under the hood?
A: the horns are located behind the pass side head light. you can access them from under the truck very easy. more then likely one has failed. even getting them from the dealer they are pretty cheap(under $100) only one bolt you are done.

A: call the local ford with your vehicle id # (vin) located on the dash by the drvrs front lower corner of the windshield. or on your registration for most states. They can access the ford data base and obtain a key code and cut you a new key.
